Nauman J. Mufti, MD, MPH
Dr. Mufti is the Medical Director of Allies Medical Group in Farmington and the Better Medicine Company in Avon, CT. He has extensive experience in Clinical Preventive Medicine and Occupational Medicine, in both hospital and corporate environments. Dr. Mufti has served as the Chief of the Section of Occupational Medicine at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center and Medical Director of the St. Francis Care Center for Occupational Health.
Dr. Mufti was once the Medical Director of Occusafe Medical in Smyrna, TN. He also served as a fellow in Occupational Medicine at the University of Cincinnati, where he was named the Proctor and Gamble Fellow of the Year.
Dr. Mufti previously served as resident in preventive medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo and as an intern in internal medicine at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro, NC.
A graduate of King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, he received a master’s degree in public health from the University of Oklahoma and served as a fellow in the Division of Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Dr. Mufti is a diplomat of the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Occupational Medicine and a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
